Sunday Night Youth Dinner Sign-up
The youth is still looking for people to provide dinners on Sunday Nights for Youth Group. If you would be interested in providing dinner for the youth one Sunday night, you can select a date from the sign-up sheet on the door of Jeremy’s office or simply call Jeremy Humphrey at (804) 317-9024 and let him know which date you would like to choose.
Young Adult Bible Study
Starting on January 8th the Young Adults will be having a time of bible study on Sunday evenings. We will be meeting from 4:00-5:00 pm with a light dinner to follow. Come on out and join in a time of fellowship and reflection.
Sunday, January 29, we will be sharing in a special worship service followed with a covered-dish luncheon. We will only have one service, at 11:00. The service will be focused on music and will feature our Chancel Choir, Praise Choir, Handbell Choir, Hispanic Praise Band, and Praise Band from Café 4:14. Please make plans to join in this exciting opportunity for all of us to share time together in God’s presence.
Confirmation for grades sixth through twelfth begins Sunday, February 26th at 4:15-5:15 p.m. and runs through Sunday, April 1st. If you as a young person are interested in Confirmation, or parent, if you have a young person who is interested in Confirmation, please call the church office, (804) 276-4628. We will be using the Confirmation Series “CREDO” —-Know your story, confirm your faith, and live your commitment.
Upward Basketball is in need of Greeters for practices and games. Practices are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Practices started January 10th and will run through March 22nd. Contact Sue Newman in the church office, (804) 276-4628 if you can help. Also, games are played in February and March on Saturdays. Again contact, Sue Newman in the church office, 276-4628 if you can help. This is a great opportunity to share Ramsey’s welcoming and hospitality with others and also the love of Jesus Christ.
